Fields White Unto Harvest

By Leonard Sankey In one way or another, every disciple of Jesus is challenged by the thought and vision of “fields that are white unto harvest,” a phrase used by Christ Himself in John 4:35. Our Bible Schools and missionary organizations were founded because someone caught a glimpse of a harvest that is “truly plenteous”, but with few laborers involved in the fields. (Matthew 9: 37, 38) This morning I suddenly realized that I was singing: “Oh, Senor, es mucha la labor, Y obreros faltan ya....

The Coming of the Spirit

For these end times, God had a perfect plan for His people. If they be His children in Iraq or Syria or Egypt where persecution is rampant. or, if they be His children in the United States of America where affluence and apathy mark our culture. Never think that God is wringing His hands or trying to figure out what to do. He already has the plan and the program. It’s just up to you and up to me to be part of that program. Crisis of Conscience

By Rick Jones In the justice department it’s known as THE FERGUSON EFFECT. In Part Two, we are emphasizing the last part of our text regarding overcoming our enemy. Indeed, we have a formidable enemy whose abilities far surpass our...

Why I Believe in Sunday School

Why I Believe in Sunday School

Dear Church Goer, I write to you today from a heart of love and concern regarding a growing trend that troubles me, and one that I fear is eating away at the core of our personal and church values. As long as I can remember, Sunday School has been a regular part of my family’s Sunday worship routine. Although there were many times as a young person that I did not want to go, nor did I get anything out of the lessons, a habit and a pattern was formed for which I am very grateful. Although it...
